Behind Every Great Book Is a Story Worth Discovering.
I'm Marietta Hughes, and for over eight years I've had the privilege of helping authors bridge the gap between writing a powerful book and ensuring it reaches the people it was written for.
I didn't start with a textbook formula for marketing books. I started with a deep appreciation for the work that authors pour into their manuscripts — the late nights, the revisions, the courage it takes to share a story with the world. What I noticed early on was a painful disconnect: extraordinary books sitting in silence, not because they lacked quality, but because they lacked strategic visibility.
That observation became my driving purpose. I set out to understand the mechanisms behind book discoverability — how Amazon's ecosystem works, how readers search for their next read, what makes a book listing compelling enough to earn a click, and how thoughtful positioning can transform a book's trajectory.
Over the years, I've had the honour of supporting more than 150 authors and promoting over 400 books. My work spans independent authors, self-published writers, Christian fiction storytellers, inspirational fiction authors, spiritual fiction creators, and children's book authors. Each project reinforces what I've always believed: that every book — regardless of the size of the author's platform — deserves a professional, strategic approach to marketing.
What I Do Differently
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all strategies. Your book has its own identity, its own audience, and its own set of opportunities. My role is to understand those elements deeply before recommending a single action. Whether I'm optimizing an Amazon listing, designing a book cover, writing sales copy, or developing a launch plan, my work begins with your book — not with a template.
I also believe in honest communication. I will never promise guaranteed rankings or overnight bestseller status. What I will do is apply tested strategies, professional attention to detail, and genuine care to give your book the strongest possible chance of being discovered.
